Northern Coalfields Community Care Association Ltd (NCCCA) is a non for profit organisation that provides a flexible range of services to frail aged and young people within the wider community.
Our volunteers are  the fundamental key to the success of our organisation. Without their dedication, hard work and loyalty it would be impossible to continue to provide the full range and quality of services necessary to assist our clients.
Volunteering has a positive affect on our attitudes and morale, it brings a sense of well-being and harmony into our lives and is one of most rewarding way of giving back to the community.
Volunteering can be a fun and exciting adventure, with the bonus reward of feeling that you have made a difference in the life of someone else!!
Some of the opportunities you may gain reward from as a volunteer include:
  • Gaining satisfaction from helping someone who needs you.
  • Meeting new, interesting and liked minded people
  • Feeling part of a greater cause for good

  • Freedom of flexibility in times and roles in which you would like to undertake
Some of the ways you can assist NCCCA to provide essential services to our clients may include:
  • Escorting someone shopping, including paying bills or grocery shopping for a client.
  • Shopping with a list for someone who just cannot get to the shops.
  • Transport to local medical practitioners and return.
  • Companionship, having a cup of tea with someone and a chat.
  • Delivering meals to our Meals on Wheels clients
  • Residential Care Activities with Care Recipients
  • Social Support
  • Transport
  • As a volunteer car driver

Your Commitment
  • the period of time and the amount of time is totally up to you
  • you can volunteer as little as one hour per week
