Managing Director - Edgar (Ted) L Jackson

Mr Ted Jackson has had 39 years of accounting and health administration experience (19 years as CEO of Northern Coalfields Community Care Association, 6 years as CEO of Cessnock District Hospital, 14 years as Accountant, Cessnock District Hospital.)

Mr Jackson has formal qualifications in accounting, Bachelor of Health Administration, and is an Associate Fellow of the Australian College of Health Service Executives.  He has overseen major re-developments and increased service provision at Cessnock District Hospital and at NCCCA since its inception in 1988. 

He is a Fellow of the Professional National Accountants and a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

General Manager Operations - Leighton Moffatt

Mr. Leighton Moffatt commenced with Northern Coalfields Community Care Association Ltd in June 2015 as Chief Financial Officer after working previously with the organisation from 2004 – 2008 as Finance Manager. He was responsible for the oversight of the financial reporting of the Residential and Community functions of the organisation through the acquisition of Coalfields NeighbourCare in 2015, before transitioning to the role of General Manager Operations in April 2016. He is responsible for the oversight of 139 Residential Aged Care Facility residential beds and 500 Commonwealth Home Support Programme and Home Care Package clients within the community sector along with incorporating two transport organisations, social housing and a small retirement village.
Mr. Moffatt holds con-currently the role of CFO for CDH Benefits Fund Ltd and General Manager Operations NCCCA.
In previous roles Mr. Moffatt has been employed as a Senior Management Accountant with a Multinational travel Company and as Finance Manager within Local Government after working within accounting management roles with Hunter Area Health.
Mr. Moffatt holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Master of Commerce and is qualified as a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) with membership with CPA Australia since 1998.

General Manager Finance- Mark Metcalfe

The role of General Manager Finance is responsible for the finance of all areas of the operation from Residential Care, Self Care and Community Housing. Mr Mark Metcalfe has been with the organisation since December 2008

Mr Metcalfe is enthusiastic about Aged Care and is involved in an Industry Consultation Group supporting the Peak Body to further improve the industry.

His qualifications include Bachelor of Business Accounting / Finance, an Accounting Certificate and Cert IV in Train the Trainer.

Manager Mountain View Lodge - Terry Atfield

Mr Terry Atfield was appointed the Facility Manager of Mountain View Lodge Hostel in October 2010. He has accumulated some 40 years’ experience in the health/nursing industry, occupying roles in both clinical care and nursing administration. Throughout his employment he has worked in; Public Sector Schedule 2 and Schedule 5 hospitals, Private for Profit and also Private Not For Profit facilities.

Mr Atfield held the position of an Assistant Director of Nursing at Allandale Nursing Home for many years and also a Deputy Director and a Director of Nursing at two nursing homes in Sydney. He has also worked as a Community Nurse in a Rural setting at Inverell, and prior to this appointment was a Clinical Coordinator at Calvary Retirement Community and also Jacaranda Grove Hostel.

His qualifications include: Registered Geriatric and General Nurse, Diploma in Nursing Administration, Certificates in Frontline Management, Community Health, and Quality Assessor.

Mr Atfield provides leadership to the home and enjoys doing what he can for residents and carers.
