In-home care, allows a person who needs assistance to stay in their own home and live as independently as possible.

There’s no Place Like Home
As people grow older, for whatever reason, they at times find it difficult to carry out everyday tasks that were previously quite easily completed. Surprisingly, there are ways that older people can receive support and remain living independently at home.

Imagine if you could receive services tailored to your needs, for example, personal assistance; housekeeping; nursing; home maintenance; respite care; social support or post hospital care; your choice, your location, your frequency as to service delivery and needs.


How Can We Help
Northern Coalfields Community Care Cessnock (NCCCA) has been a long standing, highly regarded residential care provider to the local community for well over twenty years.
NCCCA is now providing Cessnock Home Care and Support Services to the area which will be provided in your home and at times conveniently chosen by you or your family.
Cessnock Home Care and Support Services is a new private care service that is completely flexible. We will visit you in your home, talk to you and your family to understand your needs and if requested to do so, tailor a service plan to meet your requirements and costs


Services Provided Include:

  • Case Management: assessment and support while waiting for other services or levels of care.
  • Domestic Assistance:  cleaning, dusting, laundering of clothes and linen, shopping.
  • Home Maintenance: weeding, lawn mowing, minor repairs, cleaning of windows and screens, cleaning exteriors.
  • Meal Preparation: arranging of meals on wheels or assistance with meal preparation in your home if required in certain circumstances.
  • Nursing Care: Personal care- showering, dressing and grooming. Clinical Care- Medication Management, Continence support, Wound care.
  • Respite Care: Respite in your home according to your needs so the carer can have a break. 24/7 coverage if required.
  • Social Support: Assistance with shopping or socialising. 
  • Transport: We can arrange and provide transport to appointments. 

These are just a few suggestions-any other tasks can be negotiated at assessment if they support you to remain at home. Fees will be openly discussed at assessment.
